In what could only be described as a hybrid outfit, designer Marc Jacobs has created outfits that are part dresses and part fine lingerie.

This good girl / bad girl dichotomy is indeed engrossing, one may call them dressengerie outfits.

From a beautifully red wrapped dress which reveals plenty of black see through lace, to a elegant long dress were the mid section has been replaced with a transparent black lace and hip high side slits reveals some more sexy black lace.

Is this just the gimmickry of the designer or a viable style?

It's hard to say, however, these designs are very eye catching - it definitely hard to turn away from this look.

With so many shows to go, it probably to early to call any new season trends.

However, one definite observable trend is the embellished hemlines.

Whether short or diagonally cut, the hemlines have been embellished with lace, satin ribbons, or mini petticoats.

Fashions should be used to enhance and complement a woman healthy beauty; these walking skeletons are a bad examples for young women and consumers alike.
