DC Fashion Week - Strawberry Shortcake

Pearmund Cellars hosted a special pre-fashion week at its vineyard in Virginia.

The sun never sets on the world of fashion, which is truly worldwide in scope.

With the conclusion of Spring/Summer 2007 Fashion Week in New York, the focus on fashion will move to DC for Fashion Week which begins on Saturday, September 23, 2006

DCFW continues to display fresh talent with the participation of designers from around the world.

The designers presenting include Annette Williams, Aposol, Bella Indigo Studios, Bonidacci, Corjor International, D-Maxsi, Glamorous Gowns by Glynn, J-Bri, Knaf Couture, Matador Oliver Davis Designs, Michi, Renee France Designs, Yndigo Designs, and ZULA Studios.

Joining this year's fashion week are collections from Ghana and Russia among an outstanding assortment of American fashion designers and retailers.

The Embassy of France, La Maison will be the host site for the international collections show.

DC Fashion Week will also produce free outdoor fashion shows for the publice, as part of the city's historic "H Street Festival". For a complete calendar of events, visit the web site.

Heatherette - Paris Hilton and Nicky Too! - Part II

Paris Hilton gets carried away

Colorful beachwear was the centerpiece of the Heatherette collection; with hip hope pirates in colorful casual wear.

Beachwear was also included with flashy sarongs, pareos and bikinis.

Towards the middle of the show was more holiday wear: a pair of short lavender shorts held up by white suspenders and paired with a striped violet tunic in cotton.

In the end, Paris Hilton is saved by her groom. The show ended with Paris Hilton in a short blue sequined bridal gown marrying Heatherette designer Richie Rich.

Although, the Heatherette show is generally under attended by the fashion press, the boys of Heatherette do have a profound influence on fashions.
